Laura Baltz

Laura Baltz is a fully registered Psychologist with experience across public hospitals and private mental health settings. Originally from Argentina, she completed her Clinical Psychology Residency at Hospital Teodoro Álvarez in Buenos Aires, working with complex presentations such as substance use, psychosis, eating disorders, and personality disorders. It was during her time in Argentina that she began working with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), completing her specific training in this modality.

Laura has solid experience applying the DBT framework across both individual therapy and skills training groups, supporting clients through developmental and emotional challenges. Her clinical background also includes advanced training in an Eating Disorders Unit in Madrid (Spain), and experience in private practice specializing in personality disorders, eating disorders, and systemic family therapy. Alongside her clinical practice, she has academic experience as a university lecturer in Family, Couple, and Group Therapy.

Laura applies DBT and chose this framework because of its deeply collaborative nature, which relies on a dedicated consultation team working together to support individuals with genuine compassion. She is committed to providing clients with concrete, practical tools that foster autonomy, empowering them to navigate intense emotions and build a life worth living.
